My newest solo album called “Claustrophobic Universe” will be released on April 23rd, in less than a month. It’s another record on which I’m exploring sounds I grew up listening to. As you probably know, I grew up listening mainly to instrumental electronic music (folk, rock, and metal came later), which is exactly what makes me wear a jacket sometimes.
Mind you, I can always wrinkle it in Riverside or swap it for a hoodie in Lunatic Soul.
The music will be different from “Lockdown Spaces” released last year (which, let me remind you, got nominated for a Polish Music Award – Fryderyk in the electronic category!). And so you won’t hear my fascination for 8-bit computer games. Rather than that, we’ll run away into space. A specific space. Subdued, muffled, matt, claustrophobic…
There will be 9 tracks, over 42 minutes of music.
Again, it will be mainly an online release in digital distribution and streaming services. Naturally, you will be able to find it on my Bandcamp, possibly a little earlier than everywhere else. And as for the physical media – there will be a surprise.
The first sounds will be revealed after Easter. Until then, let me wish you all the best, stay healthy, rest as much as you can and stress as little as possible.
PS. No, it’s not a joke. The album will be over 42 minutes
